Project management is a carefully planned and organized
effort to accomplish a specific onetime effort. Project management includes
developing a project plan, which includes defining project goals and
objectives, specifying tasks or how goals will be achieved, what resources are
need, and associating budgets and timelines for completion.
Kaizen means
?improvement?. Kaizen strategy calls for never-ending efforts for improvement
involving everyone in the organization- managers and workers alike.
Management
has two major components:
1. Maintenance and
2. Improvement The objective of
the maintenance function is to maintain current technological, managerial and
operating standards. The improvement function is aimed at improving current standards.
Total Quality Management is the organization-wide management of quality.
Management consists of planning, organizing,directing, control, and assurance.
Total quality is called total because it consists of two qualities: quality of
return to satisfy the needs of the shareholders, and quality of products.
